HMOCS: Outstanding Applications
at close of play on 30 June 1992, 67 Police officers and no Administrative Officers have applied for transfer to the permanent and pensionable establishment and HMOCS membership. These officers' applications would be to medical fitness. They are all in the approved subject potential HMOCS member category.
There have also been a number of applications

are ascertaining the number of applications from the grades and departments concerned and should be able to report these figures to you in about ten days
However as these officers' applications for transfer to the permanent establishment are subject to the localisation policy, only a small percentage are likely to be approved. However, we also have to take account a small number of Judicial officers who still have the option to transfer to permanent terms and apply for HMOCS membership on or before 31 August 1992.
I should add that а tew of the 67 potential HMOCS officers mentioned above may, in the end, decline the officer of transfer to permanent and pensionable terms, when made after they have passed the medical examination.
