RECOMMENDATIONS
19.
The
consultant
recommended
that the receivables
purchase and exchange rate hedging schemes be further
investigated and an actuary and a team of expects from the
derivatives and debt markets should be commissioned for a
follow up study. He also recommended that consideration be
given by the Hong Kong Government to requiring private sector
maintain 50% of their assets in Hong Kong
pension
scheme to
dollars.
