Could you please try to get some chapter and verse for eventual defence of our proposed £120,000 cap ? What we need, I think, are dates of previous schemes and the caps applied, together with RPI updates. It might be possible to manage with just a random selection of schemes, but we would be better armed to do battle with the Treasury and then the HMOCS Association if we had all the facts.

2. The Treasury will naturally want to know which was the last scheme which appplied a £12,000 cap (so that the RPI update would produce a lower figure than £120,000), while the Association will quote the earliest such scheme to us.

Mr Fifoot may already have done the research needed ? not could you please ask ODA, RAD or do it yourself?
