(d) (i)
The happening of any event, whether related or not to the circumstances describ- ed in Clause 10, which the Company in its reasonable opinion considers likely to affect in any material manner the certainty of the eventual receipt by the Member (or his nominated persons as the case may be) of any amounts receivable by such Member pursuant to the Scheme. The Company may, in such event and in its absolute discretion effect, without notice, such arrangements as it considers necessary or desirable in order to protect the interests of the Members under this Policy.
(ii) Without in any way restricting the generality of Clause 10(d) (i), the Company's discretion under that Clause includes the discretion to suspend or cancel the terms of Clause 3 and to effect other arrangements instead; to deem the Scheme to have terminated in accordance with Clause 10(a); and to terminate or reinstate the Policy.
