Thus I omitted Sri Lanka from the list of tentones for which HMG pay HMOCS pensions. This too Sudan sud not be included, because there were no HMOCS officers: is it did not require HMOCS avargements. There is no advantage in lengthening the note on the Maldives and Zimbabwe : we want to keep it simple & clear.

Like Bahaman Brune The main problem remaining is Tonga, and Tuvalu Why does Tonga continue to pay pensions ?/Is stering safeguard ? ? Are we swe there are HMOCS officers? And why does Tuvalu pay no expatriate plasions, and why does HMG not pay any in its place? Is my note wrong? Did HMOCS officers serve on a permanent banis in either tentory? (AW Yaxley thought just secondment.) Or in Tuvalu's case does the Kiribati Public Officers' Agreement & pensions take-ove apply to the whole of the old Gilbert & Ellice islands.
