Officers in H.M.O.CS. and H.M.OJ.

8. (1) Overseas oflicers who are members of Her Majesty's Overs. Civil Service or of Her Majesty's Overseas Judiciary shall continue to cligible for consideration by Her Majesty's Government in the United Ki dom for transfer or promotion to employment in the Public Service some other territory.

(2) The Government of Zambia shall comply with any reasonable requ that may at any time be made by Her Majesty's Government in the Uni Kingdom for the release of an overseas officer for transfer or prumoi. in pursuanes of purnyruph (!) of this Article and shall take duy aci that may be necessary to preserve his pension rights when he is so tra ferred or promoted.

Appeals Board

9: Section 15-1Appeals Board) of the Zambia Independence Order. 19 relating to benefits, to which Section 121 of the Constitution applies. : may be granted or that may have been granted to or in respect of a overseas officers, shall not be revoked or amended to the prejudice of interests of any such officer.

Citation and Commencement

10. This Agreemem may be cited as the Public Olucers (Zambia) Agr ment, 1964, and shall come into operation on the date of signature.
