Brief Scope of Contract

1. Central and Wanchai Reclamation - Phase

I - reclamation of about 20 ha and construction of around 1,110 metres of seawall between Rumsey Street and Star Ferry to provide land for the expansion of the Central Business Area and the Airport Railway Terminus as well as construction of replacement ferry piers and air conditioning intake facilities. (entrusted to MTRC) (Contract No. UA 11/91)

2. West Kowloon Reclamation, Southern Area

Yau Ma Tei Typhoon Shelter Reclamation (Contract No. CV/91/02) - Reclamation of about 68ha in the Yau Ma Tei Typhoon Shelter.

3. West Kowloon Reclamation Northern Area

Phase II (Contract No. UA 9/91) - Reclamation of areas CS2 and TK2 adjacent to Tai Kok Tsui/Sham Shui Po, approximately 97ha

4. West Kowloon Reclamation - Hinterland

Drainage 2nd Contract

(Contract No. UA 15/92)

1. Route 3 - Cheung Ching Tunnel and

associated road works

(Contract No. HY/92/02) - Construction of about 0.8km of dual 3-lane highway (generally at grade) on NW Tsing Yi, and a 1.6km long dual 3-lane bored tunnel within Tsing Yi.

2. Route 3 - Kwai Chung Viaduct

(Contract No. HY/92/04) - Construction of 3km of dual 4-lane viaduct, generally 20m above ground level, along the Kai Chung Road Corridor

3. Route 3 - Rambler Channel Bridge and

associated roadworks

(Contract No. HY/92/03) - construction of a 0.5km dual 3-lane bridge crossing the Rambler Channel, and a 0.7km dual 3-lane viaduct along the south of Kwai Chung Park.
