AMEC are the largest engineering and construction company in the UK and have extensive overseas experience in North America, Europe and South East Asia. AMEC have recently won the contract in a consortium with others, for the LÄNTAU Expressway in Hong Kong which

one of the supporting infrastructure contracts for the airport. Additionally AMEC have specialised in airport projects and have won contracts for Heathrow Terminals 1 and 3, Gatwick, Stansted, Glasgow and the brand new Terminal 2 currently being built in Manchester.
