Tenders For Site Preparation Contract

PROVISIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORI
In response to media enquiries, the Provisional Airport Authority sald today that six tenders had been received for the Site Preparation Contract for Hong Kong's replacement airport.
The tenders, from the six pre-qualified consortia, are for the preparation of the 1,248-hectare airport site at Chek Lap Kok. The consortia comprises companies from around the world.
The Site Preparation Contract encompasses the main reclamation and cut and fill work including channel dredging, aircraft flight path obstacle reduction, and construction noise mitigation measures.
The bids have come from:

Talsel Corporation, of Japan
