All courses will be presented to any combination of up to eight airframe mechanics, engine mechanics, or crew chiefs. Each class is limited to a maximum of eight students.
Before beginning practical maintenance training courses, students must have successfully completed the corresponding theory training.
All maintenance training will be conducted in the English language. Translators, if required, will be the responsibility of the Government.
Pilot Ground School training, which consists of a two-week pilot systems familiarization course will be provided by the Seller for six students at the Government's facilities in Hong Kong. Upon completion of the Pilot Ground School, each of the six pilots will receive up to 20 hours of flight training in the helicopter, which will include night and high-altitude flying. These students must be experienced twin engine-qualified helicopter pilots with good command and understanding of the English language.
