The 91 Review suggests that Scout force levels might be reduced on the withdrawal of the Second battalion.

Until Apr 93 660 Sqn AAC has a remit to support the HKG and RHKP.

Considers the aviation requirements of garrison in Brunei in the lead up to Apr 96 when it comes under full command of HQ UKLF.

Bde of Gurkhas Infrastructure.

Proposes that BG infrastructure (HQBG, BGMRO, RPO, TDBG and 28 AEC) should be withdrawn from HK to UK during FY 94/95.

Dependent upon G4 Qtg UKLF who have yet to identify locations for all the units concerned.

If the withdrawal of the Second battalion is delayed, HQBG feel strongly that BG infrastructure moves should be delayed too.

The paper is complete having been staffed through MOD, HQ UKLF, HQBG and HQGF Hong Kong twice.

Future C2 for British Gurkhas Nepal.

Examines arrangements for the future C2 of BGN; at present CBF HK has full command of BGN.

Likely to recommend that command is to HQ UKLF from Apr 95 (matching the withdrawal of BG infrastructure from HK). JTPS and directives will of course require amendment.
