Gar support for the ASTF continues.

Recently the RN PC have had some impressive results.

CPV activity in HK waters in relation to small boat smuggling has reduced.

Chinese are now paying more attention to coastal trading vessels plying between HK and Vietnam and several cargos have been impounded by PRC authorities on suspicion of smuggling.

The amalgamation of 1/2 GR and 2/2 GR takes place 14 Sep in HK.

Gurkhas leaving the Army on pension/redundancy have to go home to Nepal but the signs are improving that there are increasing opportunities for ex Gurkhas to find gainful employment elsewhere.

HK still awaits a decision on whether 28 Sqn GTR is to return to UK 93 or 95.
