Thank you for your letter of 25 February to Mr Stone requesting our help in securing a place on this course for someone from Hong Kong.

The latest MOD proposals for the allocation of invitations for the 1993 course include the usual place for a member of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force. These proposals are unlikely to change but, as last year, we will want to ensure that the candidate selected is likely to remain in Hong Kong after 1997.
