Who will be the next to be returned?

All

illegal immigrants will need to return under

the CPA. Already 23,000 in Hong Kong have been

fully screened and found to be non-refugees in

accordance with the CPA. The next group will also

be drawn from a screened out camp or section of a

camp.

Any reason why Nei Kwu Detention Centre is chosen?

started the ORP at Nel Kwu Detention Centre when

the first group of double backers were returned in

November 1991. We therefore wish to continue with

Nei Kwu where screening has been completed for all

VMs held there.
