My thanks for your fax of yesterday. I should be more than happy to see Sengoku, but I have a problem with the date. I shall be away from the office on 30/31 March. If there were any chance of his plans being changed I should be able to see him morning or afternoon on either Friday 27 March or Wednesday 1 April (or indeed later that week).
If however his plans are fixed, I should be happy to arrange an alternative call for him in the Hong Kong Government. However, in that case the Consulate-General would need to provide someone to interpret.
