Obtain the brief facts of the case from the Police and the court transcript from AGC in respect of the criminal
conviction of the officer; chase up for these documents to avoid undue delay
Upon the expiry of the deadline for appeal against the officer's conviction, write to the officer to invite representations within 7 days
Consider punishment upon receipt of the officer's representations

Since the processing of recommendation for CR 59 action lies with CSB, Heads of departments should submit such recommendation to CSB immediately after the acquittal of the officer.
