1990/91 Recruitment

Out of the 19 candidates who have accepted the offer of appointment, 18 have reported for duty and the remaining candidate has asked to postpone her arrival date until early 1992.

1991/92 Recruitment

A total of 3,280 applicants sat for the

written examination 9 November : 2,710 local and 570 overseas applicants. Examination results will be available in early March, and selection interviews will be conducted in April/May 1992.

Subject to endorsement by the Public Service Committee, a special in-service trawl of AOs from EOS will be arranged. Candidates will be exempt from some basic screening tests but will otherwise be subject to the same vigorous selection process.

A special written examination will be arranged early next year, followed by selection interviews in March.
