The

Mr Christopher Patten, Governor Hong Kong designate, will be working from an office in the Main Building until he takes up his appointment in early July. During this time, he will have various appointments in and around central London. PUS would be most grateful if the Car Pool could be as helpful as possible in providing cars for Mr Patten's use during working hours.

2. Mr Patten's office is in room W13, and he will use the Park Door most of the time. His Private Secretary, John Morris, will be in touch with Mr Hoare in the next day or so.
