We should add that our client does not necessarily accept that none of the four telegrams deal with the investigation, prosecution and/or the ex dition of lorrain Osman. Those identified as itene three and four in category (b) in your letter to Mr Ash of 1978 May 1990 contain passages which relate to the extradition proceedings and, arguably, vere in the category of documente seught from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in paragraph two of Schedule II of Lorrain Conan's Notice of Motion. However, so far as our client is concerned, Six Piers Jacobs' certificate vas În accurate statenent of his knowledge and belief at the time it was certified and there is no reason to modify that certificate. Should you change your view as to whether the four telegrams should have been included in Sir Francis Naude's certificate, and decide to disclose their existance to lorrain Osman, we would ask that you give us prior notice.
