1. Just a quick note to thank you very much for all the trouble you went to last week in briefing me and introducing me to your colleagues in the Legal Department.
It was extremely useful for me to get a clear picture of how the Hong Kong legal machine operates and attach some faces to names I have been reading at the bottom of letters for the past year!
2. Please accept my sincere apology for having to cancel lunch on Thursday at such short notice: I very much hope that you were not too put out. The lunch with the Chinese JLG team was in the event rather unedifying a shame!
