Each Government will readmit at the request of
the other and without formality, in the case of
Hong Kong any British Hong Kong passport holder,
and in the case of the Republic of Poland any
Polish passport holder, who does not fulfil or
no longer fulfils the conditions of entry or
stay applied by the requesting Government,
provided that it is established that that person
is entitled to hold the passport concerned.
(7) Either Government may temporarily suspend the
foregoing provisions in whole or in part, except
paragraph 6 thereof, for reasons of public
order. Such suspension shall he notified
immediately to the other Government through
diplomatic channels.
(8)
The above arrangements may be terminated by
either Government giving ninety days' notice in
writing to the other Government.
If the above also represents the understanding of the Government of the Republic of Poland, the Chief Secretary
of Hong Kong has the honour to suggest that this note and
the Minister's reply to that effect should constitute an understanding between the two Governments which will come
into effect thirty days after the date of the Minister's
reply.
