Your Excellency, I have the honour to refer to
recent discussions between representatives of the
FAY
Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the United Kingdom concerning visa-free annace LU mung kong by Polish passport holders and for travel to Poland by Hong Kong British Dependent Territories Citizen passport holders and by British National (Overseas) passport holders (hereafter called "British Hong Kong passport holders"). It is the understanding of the Government of Hong Kong that

(1) Polish passport holdere will be permitted to
visit Hong Kong without visas for a period : not exceeding seven (7) days, excluding the date of landing.

Polish passport holders visiting Hong Kong without visas under the above arrangements will be subject to the immigration laws and regulations in force. in Hong Kong.
British Hong Kong passport holders will be permitted to visit Poland without visas for a period not exceeding seven (7) days on a reciprocal basis and under arrangements identical to those described in (1) and (2) above.
(4) Periods of stay may be extended on a
reciprocal basis for further seven-day periods or fractions thereof up to a total of 30 days. Both Governments may refuse such extensions to persons they consider

undesirable.
The Government of the Republic of Poland may refuse permission to enter and stay in the Republic of Poland to British Hong Kong passport holders considered by that Government to be undesirable. The
Government of Hong Kong may similarly refuse permission to enter and stay in Hong Kong to Polish passport holders considered by it to be undesirable.
