Thank you for your letter of 25 October. We are content with what you have proposed, but in the past have consulted our Migration and Visa Department on this issue, and feel we should do so again. I shall ask them to respond as soon as possible, but it is conceivable that we might miss your deadline. If this does prove to be the case, I shall let you know.

Incidentally, your letter and the enclosures were sent by unclassified fax machine. Our Security Department have advised me that the documents should be regarded as compromised.
