BRITISH UNDERTAKINGS
Since our Legal Advisers advised there is no explicit requirements for an undertaking to be established or even to have a presence in Hong Kong to qualify as a British undertaking, Hong Kong Immigration Department has flooded us with the names of hundreds of companies located in the UK.
I am enclosing the names of 299 such companies which have been approved as British undertakings by virtue of their location within the UK. It is not possible for us to categorise the companies this end but undoubtedly the majority will fall into Category A, because of their incorporation in the UK and the remainder could be cleared under category E.
