A 1. I submit for Ministerial approval a further list of 81

British Undertakings approved by the Advisory Group in Hong

Kong.

2. Apart from three relatively minor comments, the DTI are

content and have approved all names on the list. DTI have

checked with Companies House in respect of those which have claimed a connection to a British registered company.

3. We also are satisfied that all the names on the list

qualify under our established guidelines. I recommend that the names should go forward to the Governor in Hong Kong in

the usual way.
