Thank you for your faxes of 21 February enclosing the list of companies approved by the Committee.
A number of small points to be cleared up:

Companies House has an A Cohen & Co plc on its records, I assume that this is the parent company of Arnold Cohen?
According to our records the WCRS Group plc (noted as parent company for Ball Hong Kong Ltd) changed its name to Aegis Group plc in 1990. There is however a WCRS Ltd also on Companies House records.
On list C it is not clear what connection Electronic Geophysical Services has with UK. It is not registered at Companies House.
On list C, there is a "Zarkell International" registered though not a "Zarkell Group"
There are three subsidiaries of Inchcape Pacific on List B (Dodwell Hong Kong Ltd, Gibb Livingston and Co Ltd, and Gilman and Co Ltd) - should they not be on List C?
FCO will be telexing separately with Lord Caithness' reaction to the list. Mr Sainsbury is abroad until 1 March. However on the last occasion we consulted him, he indicated that, having approved the criteria, he saw no need to be consulted on individual names. We will however obviously keep him in the picture.
