Subject to members' advice that the recommendations as set out in paragraphs 8, 9, 11 are acceptable, the potentially successful applicants with the highest provisional points at or above the quota line In the are ready for personality checks and verification interviews. event that any of the 476 applicants fail the personality checks and verification interviews, it is proposed that Immigration Department should proceed with such checks and interviews for applicants with ranking position falling immediately below the quota line to ensure that all the 469 places will be taken up.

Members' advice will be sought again on a finalised list of potentially successful applicants when we have completed personality checks and interviews, before we approach the Governor for recommendation to the Secretary of State to proceed with registration.
