I thought you should have a copy of the attached letter, dated 25 April, which Paul Schindler has written to Sir David Ford in support of some 36 ICI China employees who are applying for a British passport. Clearly, it would be extremely helpful if you were able to provide support for these applications, which we believe will greatly assist ICI to maintain a strong presence in Hong Kong.
