I attach a copy of the final breakdown of application figures for the first tranche. Further invitations can be expected to be issued under the SSC and the EC.
As I have already reported, the first registrations under the 1990 Act were completed on 24 May. The total registered to date is 286.
In addition we have issued around 150 BC passports, predominately to ex-patriates but there is an encouraging take-up by early scheme beneficiaries.
A copy of this goes to John Morris at the FCO.
