Brief Note on Mr John Walton Masters
Mr John Walton Masters joined the Hong Kong civil service in August 1977 as an Estate Surveyor and was later promoted to Senior Estate Surveyor. He retired in October 1988 and returned to the UK and worked in the Department of Environment as a Planning Inspector.
Mr Masters was the President of the Association of Expatriate Civil Servants from 1986 to 1988. By virtue of his position in the Association, he had served in the Senior Civil Service Council as Staff Side Chairman and member.
