PETITION TO HM THE QUEEN: 350 BRITISH NATIONALS
Please find attached a copy of a petition to HM The Queen about
(i) the British Nationality package and (ii) Hong Kong's contribution to the Gulf effort.
This particular copy was sent to Lord Caithness and I have been unable to find out where the original document has ended up. It may well be that you or some other Hong Kong Government Department have already received it.
However until such time as the original does surface you may wish to consider your reply and submission through the Secretary of State under Colonial Regulation 171 in the normal way. I have not acknowledged receipt of the document but shall of course do so if the original of this petition turns up here.
