1. We spoke just now. I agree with Rosemary Davies' advice in her minute of 7 February 1991 to Mr Page, Hong Kong Unit, B2 Division, Home Office, subject to paragraph 2 below. 2. You kindly agreed to obtain for me a copy of the Hong Kong Regulations made by the Government which came into force on 1st December 1990. I have had to take on trust what Ms Davies says about these Regulations but nothing in her minute led me to doubt that what she says is right.
