CZECHOSLOVAKIA/HONG KONG: SUPPORT FOR RESETTLEMENT OF HONG KONG RESIDENTS

1. The local press of 17 April reported that the Slovak Government now supports the Federal Government's proposal for the resettlement of entrepreneurs from Hong Kong to Czechoslovakia. The conditions quoted were that each applicant must have at least USD 200,000, plus USD 15,000 for each family member, and must open an enterprise offering at least five jobs for Czechoslovaks within a year.
