5. Finally, it was clear that both Mr Piotrowski and Mr Skalinski felt that the Polish Trade Office in Hong Kong could play a useful role in this field when it opens.
It would make it easier to deal with individual would-be settlers/investors and would mean that the Polish authorities were in control of the operation themselves rather than relying on middle men of uncertain credentials. It was evident throughout that, in the absence of their own representation on the ground,
the Poles have very little first-hand idea of what they can realistically expect.
