A Number of applications have been received already. Employers

must ensure that their applications reach Andy Boswell at the

Employment Department's Overseas labour Section by Wednesday 21

August 1991 at the latest. The Overseas Labour Section is at

NOTE TO EDITORS

The Dependent Territories concerned are Hong Kong, Bermuda, Turks

and Caicos Islands, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Montserrat,

Cayman Islands, St Helena (including Ascension Island) and

Tristan da Cunha.

In 1990 the Dependent Territories Quota was 200; within that

figure no more than 150 permits were allowed for any one

territory.

Hong Kong took 150 permits.
