Thank you very much for organising and hosting the lunch for me in Hong Kong last week. I enjoyed meeting so many members of the Hong Kong community and I thought their mood

seemed pretty buoyant. There is no doubt that the Airport

Agreement has been a boost to confidence. The British

businessmen I met at Peter Heap's reception were also in confident mood and, not surprisingly, keen to play their part in the airport development, as I hope they will.

Thank you again for a most enjoyable lunch and for all your help with my visit.
