members of the Executive Council; attended a

dinner hosted by the Governor for business and

political leaders and a lunch hosted by the

Chief Secretary for Community leaders and representatives; visited the Mass Transit

Railway and the City Polytechnic and attended a private dinner.

also visited the border to meet the Gurkhas

and Royal Hong Kong Police and visited a Royal

Naval Patrol Craft; had a meeting with British businessmen and attended a private reception.
