(briefing on visit to Peking and discussion of current Hong Kong issues).
: Visit to Shatin (impressive New Town in the
New Territories, including some of Hong
Kong's latest public housing development)
including drive through new Tate's Cairn
tunnel.

: Lunch hosted by Sir David Ford, Chief
Secretary, for a wide cross-section of
community leaders and representatives, at
the new Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition
Centre.
