Other Visits to China

The Prime Minister's visit will be the first in a series of high level visits to Peking in the Autumn. (I attach a list). The Foreign Secretary wishes to ensure that they are properly spaced. We should aim to exploit the improvement in bilateral relations that the airport agreement should engender without appearing to rush to Peking in indecent haste.
