I do not propose to burden the Secretary of State with a large separate briefing-pack. But we shall aim to submit
next week:
(a) the notes on the Hong Kong economy and Bank of Credit and Commerce (Hong Kong) which he has commissioned;
(b) an update on the Jardines saga.
