1. The Governor has responded to the Secretary of State's further comments on the programme details (Hong Kong

There is one point on which the Secretary of State's views are sought. If the Secretary of State returns to Hong Kong at 1855 hrs on Monday 8 April (as suggested by Peking) the Governor suggests the Secretary of State (and Mrs Hurd?) might prefer a quiet dinner aboard the Lady Maurine with no other guests, except probably the Chief Secretary. this appeal to the Secretary of State?
