1. A sheet of Essential Facts about the estate in Shanghai

and a draft future strategy is attached.

Offices and Residence

2. Prior to the move of Cultural Section last year the accommodation did not function satisfactorily either as an

office or as a Residence. The offices were cramped and the Residence lacked privacy.

3. We have recently completed a full refurbishment of the premises including improved office layout and security and

modern Residence kitchen and bathroom installations. The work

was undertaken by a Hong Kong based consultant and local

labour.
