2.0 Provision of Local Servants Quarters

2.1 The Standards are as follows:-

a.

Grade 9/10: for single servants 1 room of 10 square metres, with a shared toilet, shared cooking facilities, shared laundry facilities and shared showers;

b. Grade 7/8: for married servants 2 rooms of 10

square metres with their own cooking facilities, toilet and shower and with shared laundry facilities

2.3 The facilities referred to above should be provided to locally accepted standards. Running costs for the utilities will be met by the householder. Strict control will be exercised over the number of dependents accommodated with a married servant, in order to prevent squalor or overloading of facilities.
