Legislation to allow for accession to Commonwealth Scheme for Mutual Assistance is being considered.
Copy of DTOA and drugs kit forwarded in January 1988. Further kit passed to Carpenter, Vanuatu Registrar of Companies July 1990. Vanuatu has passed Confiscation legislation. Ask post to obtain copy of legislation to check compatibility with DTOA. Legislation detailed and may be a sufficient basis for an agreement.
Papau New Guinea, Seychelles, Tonga, Uganda, Zimbabwe posts report no legislation planned.
