status from a Realm to a Republic, Indications are that Mauritius will wish to continue appeals to the Privy Council so it will be important to avoid undue delay. The Bill will be very short (probably two clauses) and is likely to be uncontentious. No opposition is foreseen.
It could be ready for introduction within a month of the decision by the Parliament of Mauritius.
