Colloquium on Technological and System Reform held 17-22 April 1988, organised by Professor Robert Cassen, Dr. Cyril Lin and Mr. Percy Mistry. The objective of the seminar was to brief Chinese economists on the impact. of technological change on institutional arrangements based international experience. The seminar examined the impact of technological change on four particular sectors: finance, telecommunications, transport and urban development.
