I have had a quick look at Ross Munro's above-titled article in Commentary Vol 90 No 6 of December 1990 (included in the recent list of articles circulated by LRD). I wonder whether anyone has looked at Munro's assertions about what happened particularly in 1979. Perhaps he is a well-known purveyor of this line?
