JUNE 4 CHINA SUPPORT GROUP

Mr Philip Baker of the June 4 China Support Group has asked for a meeting on human rights matters relating to China and Hong Kong. His organisation will be sending

representatives to the meeting of the UN Sub-Commission on the Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities in Geneva 5-30 August. Representatives from Hong Kong will also be going. They would like to discuss matters which may be

raised in that forum.

2. A meeting has been set tentatively for Friady, 2 August at 11 am, meeting in K146. I should be grateful if you would

let me know if you or your representative will be able to attend.
