Dear Sir

Mr Lau Yam Hei

We are instructed on behalf of Mr Lau Yam Hel of The Mandarin Restaurant, 2 Barrows Lane, Heysham, Lancashire LA3 2RP, in connection with his pursuit for compensation for land compulsorily acquired by the District Office of Hong Kong and

and New Territories. You have been previously approached on this matter by Mr Austin Staunton the Manager of Morcombe & Heysham Citizens Advice Bureau on 16th October 1990 and you very kindly obtained a response from the Buildings and Lands Department of the Hong Kong government who had considered that under Hong Kong law Mr Lau's claim was unfortunately no longer valid. This decision was based on facts that were not accurately reported to you and we should therefore be grateful if a further approach can be made through you to the Building and Lands Department of the Hong Kong government to see if their decision as stated in your letter of 29th April 1991 to Mr Staunton can be reversed.
