Secrecy

Prior to the announcement of an offer the vital importance of absolute secrecy must be emphasized. All persons privy to confidential information, particularly price-sensitive information,
and concerning an offer or contemplated offer must treat the information as secret and may only pass it to another person if it is necessary to do SO for purpOZIA of the offer and if that person is made aware of the need for secrecy. All such persons must conduct themselves so as to minimize the chances of an accidental leak of information.

If an offer is contemplated a close watch should be kept the offeror's shares. In the event of any undue movement in the share price or a significant increase in the volume of share turnover, an immediate announcement should be made by the offeror's board of directors, accompanied by such comment as may be appropriate.
